After picking up new matching doggy pajamas at Target today, it seemed like a perfect time to drag some furniture into the backyard for a little holiday-themed canine photoshoot! After getting the chair set up and taking some test shots, it was time to get the dogs in their jammies. Yukon was surprisingly acquiescent to being stuffed into pajamas, particularly after being a bit of a challenge to get his holiday collar put on. Sadly, Wibbly-Wobbly's jammies were a little bit too big, he's small for a corgi, so he kept stepping out of his. That might have been by accident or by design, he has never really loved being dressed up.Â
The dogs got their time to shine individually so we didn't have to chase them both around the yard at the same time. Yukon went first and was pretty well behaved throughout the whole experience, almost professional even. He was in the chair and done in no time at all. Wibbly, on the other hand, was a bit more of a handful. Keeping him in his jammies was a special challenge and then keeping him in the chair was an additional challenge.Â
I think we ended up with some really good pictures of both of them though, along with a lot of rather more silly shots along the way!
